What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is a non-surgical, FDA approved treatment designed to smooth cellulite, enhance lymphatic drainage, improve circulation , and support toxin removal. It can also help soften scar tissue and ease muscular tension.
Healthy, radiant skin starts beneath the surface. Because the outer layer of skin has no direct blood supply, it relies on healthy microcirculation and the lymphatic system for nourishment and detoxification. When circulation slows, skin can appear dull, puffy, or uneven.
Endermologie naturally stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow – helping restore balance, improve skin tone, and support a healthier glow from the inside out.
100% Natural
Unlike many techniques on the market, LPG Endermologie offers a 100% natural approach.
Originally developed in the 1980’s by Louis-Paul Guitay to support burn recovery and soften scar tissue, Endermologie soon became recognised for improving cellulite and skin tone – and is now trusted world wide in both aesthetic and medical settings
The Science Behind Endermologie®
For those who love the why, here’s the science behind what happens beneath the skin.
Cellular Science
- Increase micro-circulation by up to 400%
- Support lymphatic drainage by up to 300%
- Improve oxygenation and nutrient delivery to tissues
- Stimulate fibroblast activity, encouraging natural collagen and elastin production
Clinical Research
- Laser Doppler Flowmetry – tracks microcirculation in real time by measuring red blood cell movement
- Thermography – thermal imaging used to show increased skin temperature and circulation
- Lymphoscintigraphy – a medical imaging technique used to track lymph flow and drainage
- Ultrasound and skin biopsies – used in longer-term studies (6–12 weeks of treatments) to assess structural changes in skin, including smoother texture, improved tone and reduction in fibrous tissue

LPG Endermologie®
What Endermologie Can Help With
Endermologie is a non-surgical, FDA-approved treatment that supports circulation, lymphatic drainage, skin tone, and overall tissue health.
It is widely used to improve the appearance of cellulite, reduce fluid retention, support detoxification , reliever minor muscular tension, and enhance skin texture.
Trusted by beauticians, physiotherapists, massage therapists and plastic surgeons worldwide, Endermologie is used in both aesthetic treatments and recovery care..
POST-LIPOSUCTION RECOVERY
Endermologie is also commonly used after lipo-suction. It may help reduce swelling and bruising, support circulation during healing and gently assist in softening scar tissue and fibrous areas through a non invasive approach.
How Endermologie Works
During treatment, clients wear a specialised body stocking to allow the treatment head to glide smoothly over the body while maintaining hygiene and comfort. The therapist then uses a mechanical massage technique involving gentle rolling and tissue manipulation.
Endermologie uses a specialised device with a treatment head that combines gentle vacuum suction and motorised rollers. The vacuum lightly lifts the skin while the rollers work over the tissue, creating a controlled comfortable massage effect.
The technique is widely recognised as one of the more advanced forms of mechanical massage.
The rolling action helps stimulate circulation, soften fibrous tissue, and support a smoother, more even skin texture. It may also assist the body’s natural detoxification process and promote a sense of overall well-being.
The History of Endermologie
Endermologie was developed over 20 years ago by French inventor Louis-Paul Guitay, who patented a mechanical technique that would go on to transform the aesthetic industry..
It was originally used in therapeutic settings to help relieve acute back pain and treat skin damaged by severe burns.
During clinical use, an unexpected discovery was made - the treatment appeared to significantly improve the appearance of cellulite and help reshape body contours.
Following this, clinical studies were conducted to further investigate these effects. The results provided strong scientific evidence supporting Endermologie's impact on what is often referred to as "superficial trapped fat", commonly known at cellulite.
Shortly after, the technology began to be widely adopted for aesthetic and body contouring results.
Fluid Retention & Lymphatic Drainage
Endermologie helps improve circulation and supports lymphatic drainage, which may reduce puffiness, and improve overall skin tone and contour.
It is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that can assist in reducing fluid retention and improving skin firmness.
Backed by over 30 years of use and clinical research, Endermologie is known for delivering visible results without discomfort or downtime. It works by gently stimulating the skin and underlying tissue to support natural cellular activity and improve the appearance of cellulite and localised stubborn fat.
Endermologie stimulates fibroblasts , which play an important role in the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid - key components for skin firmness, elasticity and hydration. It may also encourage adipocytes (fat cells) to release stored fatty acids.
The treatment can be targeted to specific areas of the body and is a comfortable, non-invasive option for body contouring and skin support.
Benefits of Endermologie
Endermologie is a non surgical, painless treatment designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve skin tone and firmness and help recontour the body. It works through a series of regular treatment sessions that support both body contouring and skin conditioning.
It works by targeting underlying physiological factors that contribute to cellulite, helping improve skin texture, reduce fluid retention, and support overall tissue health.
Many clients experience visible improvements such as centimetre reduction , improved contouring, and smoother, firmer skin.
Endermologie is also commonly used to support:
- Cellulite reduction
- Loose or lax skin (including post-pregnancy or weight loss)
- Fluid retention
- Muscular tension and aches
- Overall relaxation and wellbeing
It may also enhance results when used before or after liposuction procedures.
- SKIN & TISSUE BENEFITS

- THIS CAN SUPPORT:
- Faster muscle recovery
- Reduced inflammation and soreness
- Improved circulation
- Enhanced muscle conditioning and performance
The Journey of Endermologie
The term 'Endermologie' comes from the French meaning 'through the dermis'. It refers to a scientifically developed treatment that works through the skin to stimulate underlying tissues and encourage positive change..
Endermologie was developed in the 1980's by a French engineer, Louis-Paul Guitay. After experiencing extensive tissue damage in a car accident, he underwent intensive daily manual massage to help soften and rehabilitate scar tissue. Noticing the inconsistency in manual techniques, he set out to design a machine that could deliver a consistent ,controlled rolling massage combined with suction to support recovery.
The innovation was initially used in the treatment of burn scars, where it showed significant success in improving tissue flexibility and healing outcomes..
It was later adapted for aesthetic use, where it became known for improving skin tone, reducinng the appearance of cellulite , and supporting body contouring . Today, LPG Systems is recognised globally in connective tissue manipulation and technology.
Endermologie works using a principle of negative pressure mechanical massage. The treatment head contains motorised rollers that gently life and roll the skin, while a controlled suction system stimulates circulation within the tissue.
The mechanical stimulation may help support lymphatic drainage, improve blood flow, and encourage healthier oxygen and nutrient delivery to the skin and underlying tissues. Over time, this can support the appearance off smoother skin, improved tone, and reduced fibrous tissue.
Extensive scientific research in Europe and in the United States has been conducted to evaluate these effects. Endermologie was also the first mechanical cellulite treatment to receive FDA clearance in the USA.
Modern devices include interchangeable “Keymodules” – specialised roller heads designed for different treatment goals such as cellulite reduction, skin laxity, localised fat, and general wellbeing. These allow treatments to be adapted to individual client needs.
Clients typically receive one or two sessions per week, alongside healthy lifestyle habits such as hydration, balanced nutrition, and regular movement. Maintenance sessions may be used to help sustain results.

About Lisa
Hi, I'm Lisa - your Endermologie therapist. I've worked in the health and fitness industry for over 23 years, with a strong passion for helping people build healthier, more confident , and more fulfilling lives.
My background has been in supporting overweight and obese clients to regain control of their health, often helping them create sustainable lifestyle changes through a combination of nutrition, exercise, supplementation, intermittent fasting, and coaching. Over the years Ive seen life changing transformations take place through consistent support and guidance.
My own journey began with my personal struggles with weight. I lost 27kgs, which became a turning point in my life. From there, I went on to complete my Certificate in Sport & Fitness and Diploma in Personal Fitness training, and later established a private personal training studio focused on supporting clients with similar challenges.
Although I no longer run the gym, my passion for health and wellbeing has never changed. Today, Endermologie allows me to continue supporting people in a different but equally powerful way - helping the bbody through circulation , lymphatic support, and overall skin and tissue health.
Over time, Ive also developed a strong interest in the science of nutrition , supplementation, intermittent fasting, and whole food approaches to support the body's natural balance. I believe lifestyle plays a major role in energy, weight management , inflammation , annd overall wellbeing.
Coming from a place where I once struggles with my own health, I understand how life changing it can be to feel strong, confident , and in control of your body again.
I look forward to welcoming you and supporting you on your journey.
